How long delivery takes
Orders are packed by hand in Fukuoka and handed to the carrier within 72 hours of payment, except on weekends and Japanese public holidays. You receive a tracking link by email as soon as the parcel leaves.
The shipping cost for your country is shown on every product page, and the exact amount appears at checkout before you pay. Two options are offered at checkout: Standard, tracked, and Express, which needs a phone number for customs clearance and delivery. If your country does not appear at checkout, write to us and we will look for a solution.

Customs clearance is the one stage neither we nor the carrier control. A parcel held for inspection can take a few extra days. Ordering a gift? Allow a comfortable margin, especially in November and December.
Duties and taxes
United States: all included
For US orders, the price you pay at checkout covers all import duties and taxes. There is nothing more to pay on delivery, whatever the value of your order.
All other destinations
Import duties and taxes are not included in our prices. Depending on your country's rules and the value of your order, your customs office may charge VAT or duties when the parcel arrives. They are collected by the carrier or the customs office, not by us, and they are the customer's responsibility.
Customs rules require us to declare the full value of your order on the parcel. If you want to know in advance what you may be charged, your national customs website is the reliable source.
If something arrived wrong
Tell us. Most cases are settled by email within a day or two, and a return is often not needed at all.
Damaged, faulty or not what you ordered
This one is on us. Email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem, including the packaging if the parcel arrived damaged.
We replace the item or refund it in full, shipping included. You pay nothing, and in most cases we will not ask you to send anything back.
Parcel returned to us. If a parcel comes back to Japan because of an incomplete address or because it was not collected, we contact you to send it again. The new shipping cost is covered by whoever was at the origin of the problem.
Changed your mind
You have 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order to ask for a return. Write to us first, before sending anything back, so we can give you the return address and a reference for your parcel.
The item must come back unused, in its original packaging and in the condition it reached you. Once it arrives, we check it and refund the price of the goods to your original payment method, usually within five working days.
Please read this before you order. Returns travel back to Japan and the return postage is yours to pay. From North America or Europe it is rarely cheap, and on a small item it can cost more than the item itself. The original shipping fee is not refunded either. Hesitating between two items? Ask us before ordering: we answer quickly and would much rather help you choose.
What cannot be returned
A change of mind does not cover the following, for hygiene or safety reasons. Faulty items are still covered as described above.
- Candies and anything edible, opened or not
- Socks, once tried on
- Anything sent back without contacting us first
