Ghibli Bento: Bringing the Films to Your Lunchbox

The bento tradition, the Japanese practice of preparing a packed lunch in a divided box, is deeply embedded in Japanese everyday culture. It appears throughout Studio Ghibli films: the meals prepared with love and care in My Neighbor Totoro, the ramen bowl in Ponyo, the food stalls of the spirit world in Spirited Away. Our Ghibli eat and drink collection brings the warmth of Ghibli food culture into your daily routine with officially licensed bento accessories.

Bento Boxes

Our Ghibli bento box range features two films:

• Ponyo bento box (360 ml, L14.8 x W12.3 x H5.1 cm): A bright blue and white design inspired by the bowl in the film, with a removable inner divider and a secure lid. Made in Japan, BPA free, not dishwasher safe.

Bento Bags: Carrying Your Lunch in Ghibli Style

A bento bag keeps your lunch together, insulated and stylish. We carry three Ghibli thermal bento bags:

• Totoro O bento bag (26.5 x 27 x 12 cm): Non-woven fabric exterior with thermal aluminium lining. Clear Totoro graphic, fits a full lunch box and water bottle.
• Ponyo bento bag (26.5 x 27 x 12 cm): The same format with a Ponyo graphic.
• Kiki bento bag (22 x 11.5 x 16 cm): Polyester and aluminium, slightly more compact, fits a lunch box and bottle.

Cutlery Sets: On-the-Go with Ghibli

Our Ghibli cutlery sets combine chopsticks, spoon and (for some sets) a fork in a compact carrying case:

• Kiki Aqua cutlery set: Chopsticks and spoon in a charming Kiki case, made in Japan from food-safe ABS PET.
• Ponyo cutlery set: Chopsticks, spoon and fork in a Ponyo case, also made in Japan.
